This Fonthill home was redesigned from the ground up, including the driveway, retaining wall, raised patio, backyard patio, fencing, sod, and full garden design.
Rather than upgrading one area at a time, the entire property was planned as one cohesive build to ensure every element worked together structurally and visually.
Project elements
- Interlock driveway installation
- Front walkway construction
- Retaining wall build
- Raised patio installation
- Backyard interlock patio
- Fence installation
- Sod installation
- Custom landscape design
- Plant selection and installation

Front Driveway & Entry
The original driveway was removed and rebuilt using premium interlock stone, with defined borders and corrected grading for proper drainage. The front walkway was integrated into the new layout to create a clean, intentional approach to the home.
Retaining Wall & Raised Patio
To manage elevation changes in the backyard, a retaining wall was installed to create stability and structure. A raised patio was then built to establish a defined entertaining area and add dimension to the space.
Backyard Living Space
A spacious interlock patio provides functional outdoor living space while maintaining balance with lawn areas. Material selections were kept consistent across the property to create continuity from front to back.
Finishing Details
The project was completed with new fencing for privacy, fresh sod installation, and a tailored planting plan designed for Niagara’s climate. Layered greenery softens the hardscape and ties the entire property together.
